I started practicing yoga in 2011 on a friend's recommendation. After experiencing the way yoga healed my life I knew I wanted to help others find that healing too. In 2017 I received my 200-hr certification and in 2018 I became a Reiki Level 1 practitioner. My goal as an instructor is to provide a supportive and mindful environment for my students. I encourage my students (and self) to move in meditation. That means allowing the movement on their mats to be purposeful. Part of that purpose is an awareness of the breath, how it guides our movement and clears our thoughts. My hope is that every student in my class leaves feeling lighter and at ease. When I'm not teaching or practicing yoga, you'll find me connecting with family, friends, myself or nature and sometimes all of those at once. I love sharing experiences with those I care deeply about and I'll strike up a conversation with anyone. I am a firm believer that the energy we put out is what we get back, so I approach life with a smile, accepting heart, and positive attitude.
