PT, DPT, RYT 200
Yoga has been a part of Noel’s life since her first Warrior pose in 2000. She began taking yoga classes at a local studio out of curiosity and to stay active. She found more than exercise, she found contentment and space to breath. Yoga is profoundly effective self-care and allowed Noel to cope with the rigors of teaching middle school in an inner city school district in southern California.
After quitting teaching, Noel returned to school and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2011, and her 200 hour level yoga teacher certificate with Maria Santoferraro in 2017. As a physical therapist, she specializes in acquired brain injury rehabilitation. Noel is a certified Love Your Brain Yoga instructor and enjoys making yoga accessible to her patients as part of their rehab program. Her patients inspire her every time they are on their mats waiting for their next cue. Yoga allows Noel to support her patients physically and emotionally.
She is deeply grateful to her teachers and fellow yogis for sharing their loving wisdom, and is honored to have the opportunity to pay it forward. Noel’s classes are nourishing and balanced. She looks forward to supporting others on their journey down the yogic path.
