Serenity's yoga journey began in 2009 as a supplement to her workout routine. She quickly realized there was much more to be gained from consistent time on her mat and became passionate about the practice. Serenity received her RYT 200 certification in May of 2016 and became RYT 500 certified in December of 2017. Her teaching style encourages students to explore their strength and practice with a sense of curiosity and possibility.
She believes that a combination of mindful physical movement and intentional breath are the perfect pairing to cultivate openness, joy, a calm mind, and greater sense of self. Serenity enjoys visiting different studios and has traveled to learn from several teachers who have influenced her including Dylan Werner, Kino Macgregor, Bryan Kest, Tommy Mack, and Sri Dharma Mittra.
