I first practiced yoga almost 15 years ago when looking for a fun way to get in shape after the birth of my fourth child. I very quickly realized this technology called yoga was much more than simple physical fitness. Through regular practice of yogic breath and movement I found a source of power and peace, and ultimately wisdom into the the truth about myself and my world.

I have experienced magical healing and miraculous creation because of my yoga practice. I organically began to drop toxic behaviors in my daily habits and personal life. I began to seek greater meaning in my career and relationships with friends and family. My career as a clinical counselor specializing in mindfulness has been heavily influenced through my work on my mat and becoming a yoga instructor blossomed into my life in the most unexpected way.

I will never forget taking my first yoga class on a Sunday morning over 10 years ago. My friend invited me to Yoga Bliss in Fairlawn and my heart and mind were blown open by the energy of the instructor and the community in that hot room! Now I find immense joy in helping others find that peace, wellbeing and creative power are accessible to all no matter the current circumstance. My classes offer an unrelenting optimistic belief that you can heal and grow into something beautiful and unexpected. I enjoy sharing the neuroscience and spirituality of yoga through a rigorous, challenging and creative flow. I feel so fortunate to be a part of the community that first opened me up to the energy of community yoga.
