E-RYT 200
I first discovered yoga from Tony Horton’s P90X program back in 2007. It was challenging and like nothing I’d ever done. I began practicing regularly and quickly fell in love. I loved how connected I became to my body, mind and spirit.
In 2012 I had the opportunity to start teaching at my community YMCA. I finished my first 200 hr training in 2013. Since then I’ve taught 1000s of hours and received several certifications. It’s the students who keep me coming back. I love getting to know the people in my classes and making connections.
My favorite type of yoga to teach and practice is power. I love the flow. Linking sequences together in unique and thoughtful ways is fun to teach and practice. It brings me so much joy when a student understands a pose more fully or has a connection to one of my messages.
